Mission

My mission is to help others achieve a healthier life style through Chiropractic and nutritional coaching.

Inspiration

I graduated from Rowan College of New Jersey and started a cleaning service soon after. One of my
contracts was to clean a Chiropractor’s office in Ventnor, New Jersey. In a conversation with the
Chiropractor, I mentioned that when I was a little girl I did in gymnastics. The Chiropractor instantly started
examining my neck. He pointed out several problems with my vertebra and how these problems will impact
my health and life negatively. Until this point I didn’t know what a Chiropractor was or that my back could
be adjusted. I started getting adjusted regularly. Something that I will always remember from that time is
that I didn’t know how bad I felt until I started to get adjustments. I started to feel better. I called that my
good pain, because it started me on a path to a much healthier and satisfying life style.

Three years later I was thinking about going back to school to study nutrition. My Chiropractor recommended
that I go to school to become a Chiropractor. I took his advice and moved to Marietta, Georgia where I
started Life University School of Chiropractic.

I went to Panama around the time of my graduation with ninety-nine other
Chiropractors for five days of missionary Chiropractic adjusting. These people never heard of a Chiropractor.
It isn’t even a profession in that country. It changed my life, watching these people get up early in the morning
and eagerly line up for Chiropractic adjustments. Each day as the word spread the lines became longer as we
taught them about the benefits of Chiropractic care. Each Chiropractor received a Certificate of Appreciation
from the Republic of Panama.

I moved to Santiago, Chile thereafter and started practicing. I would go to the homes
of people, teach them about Chiropractic care, and adjust them. These people also never heard of a Chiropractor.
After three months I was ready to come back home to the United States and settle in Michigan where I was
born and would be close to my family. Back in Michigan I opened a practice. I love teaching my patients
about chiropractic, and nutrition. About the same time I met my husband, David. We enjoy traveling, riding
bikes, camping, hiking, and honeybee keeping. Sincerely, Dr. Valarie Wells
